Our Independent Reviews

Every review written by our team is completely independent. We are not influenced by restaurants, PR agencies, advertisers, or anyone else with a stake in the outcome. No restaurant can pay for a positive review, request changes to our editorial content, or prevent us from publishing an honest assessment. What you read is what we genuinely experienced — full stop.

When we visit a restaurant, we do so as regular diners. We pay our own bills and we evaluate every visit on the same criteria: food quality, value, service, atmosphere, and consistency. Our opinions are our own, and we stand behind every word.  Of course, your mileage may vary.  We are all free to think for ourselves and most notably, we all have different palates!

How We Curate Reviews

In addition to our own firsthand experiences, we share links to reviews from some of the most trusted platforms on the web — including Yelp, Google Business Profiles, and more. This gives our readers a broader, more complete picture of what to expect before they walk through the door.

We believe that a restaurant’s reputation is best understood across many voices and many visits, not just one. By citing multiple respected sources, we’re able to present a well-rounded view of Fort Lauderdale’s dining scene that goes beyond any single perspective — including our own.
